Wes Porter's Summer Trial and Evidence Makes PreLaw Magazine's 25 Most Innovative Ideas List

Wes Porter, who directs the Litigation Center at Golden Gate University School of Law is an innovative teacher and scholar who is doing exciting things on the West Coast. One of his programs, called 1st Step, is an integrated evidence and trial advocacy summer course for students who've just completed their first year. The 1st Step program just made PreLaw Magazine's list of the 25 most innovative ideas in legal education. You can read about it here: http://www.nxtbook.com/nxtbooks/cypress/prelaw_2013backtoschool/#/32.

As you look through the article, note how many schools on this list have strong trial advocacy programs. Is there a connection? I'm willing to bet there is.
